Recognized as an international expert in structural dynamics, reinforced concrete structures and dam engineering, Patrick Paultre, a tenured professor in the Department of Civil and Building Engineering at Université de Sherbrooke, has been elected as a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering. Fellows of the Academy are nominated and elected by their peers on the basis of outstanding achievement and long service to the engineering profession. The Canadian Academy of Engineering is the national organization through which Canada's most senior and experienced engineers provide strategic advice on issues of critical importance to the country. The Academy is an independent, not-for-profit organization founded in 1987.
