CEISCE members regularly organize scientific activities, including colloquia and seminars. The annual colloquium of the strategic cluster generally gathers more than 150 participants each year. During this colloquim, renowned speakers are invited to give keynote presentation on various topics related to the topics covered by CEISCE. Special sessions are often proposed by CEISCE within national conferences such as those organized by ACFAS, CSCE and CCEE. CEISCE members also promote several activities within each member institution, e.g. Research Day of the structural engineering research group of Polytechnique Montréal, seminars given by guest speakers, etc.
Examples of CEISCE activities are given below.

CEISCE is co-organizing with CAEE (Canadian Association for Earthquake Engineering), the 12th Canadian Conference on Earthquake Engineering (CCEE 2019) from June 17 to 20, 2019 at the Fairmont Château Frontenac Hotel in Quebec City, under the theme "Improving the seismic performance of our infrastructures and the resilience of the community". Several CEISCE members are on the organizing and technical committees of this major international conference, which will have more than 400 participants from some 30 countries. The 2019 edition of the CEISCE's annual conference will be held within the framework of this major event and several actions have been taken to make it accessible to student members of the group, notably through very preferential rates reserved for them, and the assumption of responsibility by the CEISCE for their accommodation in the residences of Laval University and their public transportation in Quebec City.
More detailed information on this event, including the proceedings, is available at this link.
