The 14th Canadian Masonry Symposium that was supposed to be held in Montréal, was held 100% virtual from May 16th to 20th, 2021. The conference was co-hosted by Concordia University (Dr. Khaled Galal) and the Canada Masonry Design Centre CMDC (David Stubbs and Dr. Bennett Banting). The registration was free, thanks to the conference sponsors, mainly: the Canadian Concrete Masonry Producers Association (CCMPA), Ontario Masonry Contractors Association (OMCA), and National Concrete Masonry Association Foundation (NCMA). The conference received around 100 papers from 17 countries and had close to 500 registrations. The conference was a great success as per the testimonials and feedback received from the presenters and the attendees during and after the conference.
