Mélanie Trudel, CEISCE member, and Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Building Engineering at the Université de Sherbrooke, is among the four scientists who received the 38th Scientist of the Year Award from Radio-Canada. This distinction recognizes her innovative work in developing the new generation of flood zone and mobility maps in Quebec. More information is available here and here
