Robert Tremblay, member of CEISCE and Professor in the Department of Civil, Geological and Mining Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, received the Alfred F. Wong Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC). This award recognizes individuals who have made a significant and sustained contribution to the Canadian steel construction industry. Prof. Tremblay is internationally recognized for his contributions to the seismic behaviour and design of steel structures, as well as for his impact on research, education, and the development of design standards.
