Prof. Yniesta participates in a reconnaissance visit following the September 19th, 2017 earthquake in Mexico City

Prof. Samuel Yniesta, assistant professor in the Department of Civil, Geological and Mining Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, was part of a team of six researchers and engineers sent to Mexico by the Canadian Association for Earthquake Engineering to explore lessons learned from the Mexico City earthquake that occurred on September 19, 2017. He described the experience in an interview entitled ''De Mexico à Montréal : ce que nous apprend un séisme'' given to the PLAN magazine of the Order of Engineers of Québec.
