Patrick Paultre, member of CEISCE and professor in the Department of Civil and Building Engineering at the Université de Sherbrooke, was awraded the Grand Prix d'excellence Professionelle 2022 by the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). This high distinction highlights the exceptional career of an engineer. Almost at the same time, Professor Paultre was also awared the prestigious Horst Leipholz Medal from the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, which highlights the exceptional contribution of one of its members to research or practice in applied mechanics or structural dynamics.
